Newby Hall is proud to host the Darlington Dog Show, visitors will be able to see every conceivable breed of pedigree dog from all over Great Britain & abroad being handled & judged. Trade stands, on site catering and more.
Judging commences at 9.30am each day with the breed judging culminating in the Group Judging from 3.30pm, with Judging for Best in Show on the last day.
Friday 18th September - Hound, Terrier & Utility Groups
Saturday 19th September - Working & Pastoral Groups
Sunday 20th September - Gundog & Toy Groups
Dog Show Admission is FREE. Entry to the Car Park (Adjacent to the Show) is £10 per car.
Why not visit Newby Hall after visiting/participating in the Dog Show. A shuttle bus will run between Newby Hall and the Dog Show between 1.00pm to 5.30pm.
Entry to Newby Hall with Dog Show Parking £4.00 Adults/£3.00 Concession.
Admission to Dog Show (with Newby Admission) is Free.
NB: Queues may be likely between 9.00am - 11.00am.
Caravan Bookings 2010
During the week of the Dog Show we allow exhibitors and visitors to stay on site at Newby Hall.
Site Facilities include:
There is a dog exercise area (with waste bin)
The Caravan site is approx 150m from the show
There will be toilets and a tank for disposal of chemical waste. There are no showers or electric hook up points.
The main gates will be shut between 11pm and 6am
Please arrive between 8am and 10.30pm when the Site Warden will be on duty.
Dates for camping are Monday 13th September - Monday 20th September 2010, the last caravan is leaving Monday AM. It costs £12 per night and to secure your booking please can you write to the Estate Office with your name, address, length of visit and Car Registration with payment. Please can cheques be made payable to RC Compton Estate.
